Mengotti, a "Made in Italy" family story

                         

The Mengotti story begins almost 130 years ago, more precisely in 1889, when Giovanni Mengotti opened a hat shop in the heart of Bassano del Grappa, in Piazza Liberta. Over time, along with hats, the store begins to offer other clothing items: ties, umbrellas, shoes or denim, and Giovanni Mengotti's son, Giuseppe, will direct the concept of the store towards the exclusive fashion area.

Adriano Mengotti took over a family business and successfully transformed it into a chain of stores, becoming today one of the most important players on the Italian and Romanian luxury market. Together with his son, Filippo, he developed the business even more, currently reaching 12 stores in the Veneto area, in Italy, respectively in Bassano, Breganze, Valdagno and Castelfranco.

The multi-brand store in Bucharest was inaugurated in March 2008, offering luxury buyers in Romania the same concept on which the whole business philosophy of the group is built, "Mengotti in Veneto", based on refinement, elegance, quality and good taste at the same time.
